Hi I’m Aislynn!
Sometimes my friends call me ‘Aisy’ because it rhymes with my favorite flower, Daisy ☺
I am 14 years old and in July of 2013 I was diagnosed with a brain tumor. Following surgery to remove the tumor, I was diagnosed with brain cancer. Things were looking good until October 2014 and when we learned that the cancer has spread to my spine.
I just finished radiation to my spine and chemotherapy. Now, I go to oxygen therapy every day to help offset any damage from radiation and chemotherapy. The oxygen therapy helps restore my blood counts and gives me a better chance of healing. I am also seeing a chiropractor and taking a lot of natural vitamins and supplements to build my immune system. Recently, I returned from Spain where I sought alternative treatment. Since the return/spread of the cancer my family has been seeking a more natural-holistic approach to help my body fight!
Aislynn, the youngest daughter of Craig Merritt, VP of Rauhorn Electric, Inc. is a beautiful young lady with a strong faith in God and smile that can light up a room. As Aislynn continues to fight, it is important that she focuses on her health and maintains a positive attitude. We have set up this page in the hope that friends and family both near and far, will be able to help relieve some of the financial strain placed on her family. All donations will be used to cover all uncovered medical expenses.
