Rodgers Family of 6 House Fire
Donation protected
Last night the Rodgers family of six escaped a burning home in Butler County early Wednesday morning.
Firefighters said a couple and their four children got out unharmed after the father woke up and smelled smoke.
Fire crews said when they arrived at the home on Saxonburg Road in Jefferson Township, the house was fully engulfed.
Officials said they had to battle the blaze from outside because the floors had already began to buckle by the time emergency responders arrived.
No injuries were reported and the cause of the fire remains under investigation.
The house is a total loss. Please help us help them!
