Dannette Clark's Medical Expense

Hi, everyone. I want you to meet my dear friend, Dannette Clark. Dannette and I worked together as hairdressers in her salon, Platinum Hair Designs, in Zionsville, IN. She welcomed me into her life with open arms as well as an open, un-guarded heart. Anyone who knows her will tell you that she is instantly endearing and comfortable, with an infectious giggle and beauty that goes beyond the physical.
I learned recently that Dannette needed emergency surgery, and had to take more than 2 months off work. I worry myself about the big "what if." What if my income was cut off, or cut in half? How could I make it all work so I wouldn't lose my home, my business? How can I keep my employees/coworkers protected? What if, what if, what if....we've all had this inner dialogue. Dannette's living it.
She had to have this surgery, no question about it. She and her family now have a balance with St. Vincent's Hospital in Indianapolis of $30,000. St. V's will graciously allow her to make payments, and I want to help. I have 162 friends. Dannette has at least 300 friends. You have friends. I did the math, which, if any of you know me, is a big stretch. It would take a contribution of $60 divided among 500 friends to reach $30,000, but I'm not asking for that specific amount from you. I know it's right before Christmas. I know your household has a budget. I know the economy is tenuous. But, I'm a follower of the gospel of Jesus Christ. He says, "Give, and it will be given back to you; pressed down, shaken together, and over-flowing." It's been proven to me countless times. Look around you; look at what you have. You can do this. I am, because love requires action.
