I am stronger than Crohns

I usually wouldn't do something like this but I am stuck between a rock and a hard place!

I got diagnosed with Crohn's at age 13. Every since then its been an uphill battle to just live a somewhat normal life style. Recently I got diagnosed with ulcerative colitis as well. Crohn's disease is a chronic condition that causes inflammation of the digestive tract. It is a type of inflammatory bowel disease. Crohn's disease can be painful, debilitating, and, sometimes, life-threatening. The main difference between Crohn's and ulcerative colitis is the location in which it affects my colon, ulcerative colitis also comes with some serious and painful symptoms.

Crohn's has also caused other complications in my life which include walking pneumonia (due to the auto immune part of the disease) carcinoid tumors, anemia, fatigue, acid reflux, and the worst one of all Cdiff (which is a life treating infection).

Ive always tried to keep a positive attitude about the whole situation, but after having to drop out of college and stop swimming, moving to Florida (cold weather is bad for auto immune disorders), all the colonoscopy, test, surgeries it has taken a big toll on my life and my financial life. Its been a life altering disease that has effected every aspect of my life. I couldn't even eat at my own bridal shower due to colonoscopy complications! I would just love to have some of my life back and not let it completely take over.

I am a normal 24 year old girl! I love Disney, dancing, hanging out with friends, swimming, learning, adventure, and travel but unfortunately its all slowly being ripped away because of all my symptoms. I am hoping this new medication will have a new and positive out come for me!

The new medicine that I have to start taking for Crohn's and Colitis is about $1,000 a month and thats WITH INSURANCE, my colonoscopy I have to pay close to $4,000 out of pocket which I just had one and will need to keep repeating. All this is on top of all my other medical bills and just my daily bills. With all the complications and inflammation I have going on right now it makes it nearly impossible to work a new normal job, I can barely get out of bed due to the cramping, fatigue, and all the other terrible (disgusting) side effects. I'm just exhausted/fed up and the stress about not having the money for the medicine, tests, and surgery to make me feel better is just making everything else act up, I would never ask for help unless it wasn't urgent or necessary!
