I'm Ready to Beat Cancer!

On December 13, 2017, I met a new, unexpected challenge. I was diagnosed with breast cancer. And with further testing, found out that not only was it in my breast, but it traveled to my lungs, bones and lymph nodes. Right now, I am doing my very best to make ends meet, pay for treatment, and help my ailing brother, Gary. He is ill and has lived with me for several years. He is in need of new kidneys as well as support getting to his appointments and receiving his care. But unfortunately, everything is so expensive and at this point, we are unable to afford the care we both need. Also, one of the cars we use for appointments has broken down and the other car is in need of repairs.
As many of you, I have lost many things in this lifetime and have faced some incredible challenges. No matter what, I just keep going and embracing this good life and making the very best of it. But this time, this challenge, this cancer, I cannot face alone. I am taking the many signs I have received and I am asking for your help.
My ultimate goal is to defeat cancer and continue to be a contributing part of society and serve others through occupational therapy and energy work with my many wonderful clients. To do this, I need to continue treatment which has become too costly. Just this past week alone cost $2,000. With your contribution, whether it be $1, $10, $100, or $1,000, your funding will help me fight this battle and win. Each penny brings me closer to victory over cancer.
I am thankful for your friendship, your generosity, compassion and prayers. To say I am grateful for your emotional and financial support would be an understatement. Nonetheless, THANK YOU for facing this challenge of a lifetime with me. I will forever be filled with immeasurable appreciation.
