My name is Amelie Ionita and I am 15 years old.
One day, two years ago, I woke up as a normal person not knowing that my life would change negatively, that very day. I have been taken to the hospital for a specific investigation, as my body had severe reactions, loosing unusual amounts of blood. Long time after that visit to the hospital I was diagnosed with a very violent form of the Chrone disease.
I lost in weight from 46 kg (99.208 lb) to 27 kg (59.524 lb). The worst thing was that my Hemoglobin riched the low level of 6.1g/dl (average limits are 11.5 - 13.5g/dl and below 7g/dl starts anemia) becoming an anemic child, being close to leukaemia. By God's grace I was saved that time by receiving several blood transfusions. Things did not change for better.
All this time, my parents were so caring and supportive to me not sparing time, energy and financial resources to help me do better.
Since 2017 all this nightmare became mine and their's day by day struggle. There are days that I do better, but after those days things go bad again for several weeks.
On November 24th 2019, I had another blood transfusion after losing around 500 ml of blood. The Hemoglobin went down again to 6.3g/dl.
I am in the emergency room, trying to recover from this critical moment.
Expenses on all sort of treatments went way above my parents possibilities.
My parents have been in debts for several months, because of my treatments expenses, struggling to keep things together for me and my 3 other siblings.
I am reaching out to all of you that can help make a difference for me, to do so.
I strongly believe that God will provide through all of you and will give you back more than you imagine.
