I'm a knackered nurse, get me out of here!

I've been in the NHS for ten years, and in that time I've seen pay plummet, deductions skyrocket, and my pension vanishing over the horizon. I've finally had enough. I want to take my family to live in New Zealand, but thanks to a decade of real-terms pay cuts for nurses I'm about £8,000 per year worse off than I should be. That means we're about £20,000 in debt, so in no position to save up for the cost of emigration at the same time as trying to start a new life free of debt.
