I want to help pets live healthier.

I have always loved animals of all sorts, and I have always wanted to help them.

I have recently begun researching the nutritional benefits of a raw meat diet for my dog, Jenny, and when I was researching, I found a lot of disturbing facts about the big dog food companies. The ingredients are literally killing our pets. Dogs and cats have their own specific nutritional requirements. We have been duped by big pet food companies to believe that we are feeding our pets a kibble full of meat, and that this will make for a long, and healthy life for our four-legged friends, when in fact we are doing quite the opposite. The labeling of these products is so loosely-regulated, they can make very false claims about what they are, and lead you to believe they are beneficial for our pets. In the past ten years, there have been several outbreaks of dogs being poisoned by various foods and treats put out by big pet food companies, who put vitamins and supplement with chemicals so our dogs will survive off of them. However, the reason our dogs and cats develop so many medical conditions is the poor grain-based diets found within these foods. It's wrong, and I want to make a difference. Dog food companies make their own regulations and the FDA has little to no part in it. It’s a sick thing that most people do not know about, but please do research, and look at what is actually in dog food, and use common sense. Our pets have evolved from animals in the wild, and their diets should mimic their natural counterparts. For the sake of your animal, please do this.

I want to spread awareness of this and open a place to sell pet foods that will actually make a change in animals’ lives by feeding them food based around their unique needs.

Even if you don't donate, if you have a pet, really look into it and research some things that I've mentioned: what they really need to be healthy. Your animals will thank you for it. There's a documentary on Netflix called “Petfooled.” I highly suggest watching it. Pets deserve real food that they are designed to eat.
