I want to continue life through kidney donation.

I was diagnosed with Stage 3 Kidney Disease in 2013, and I quickly progressed to End Stage Renal Disease by January 2019.  Since kidney failure, I have been hospitalized at least ten times, over 15 procedures performed on my left arm,  and I am currently in need of shoulder surgery and knee replacement surgery.  This has impacted my family financially - I have 2 kids in college, 1 in high school, and my son with Autism Spectrum Disorder.

My wife has several health issues, and this has put a tremendous strain on her health.  I am currently recovering from another AV Graft surgery for me to receive dialysis.  I receive disability, but that does not cover the bills in our household.  It is disheartening to  imagine the stress of my health as well as not knowing if my wife has enough money to cover the utilities, car notes, or mortgage.  I have worked 20 years in the trucking industry and I am not used to asking for help.  As I have explained, the help is so needed.  

I am in need of a kidney immediately.  I understand the importance of organ donation...unfortunately, my sister was not a match, but she is willing to do an exchange.  I would like anyone to contact me if donation is in your heart.  My children are too young to get tested for a match,  and we were advised not to try due to kidney disease being genetic in my family.

The financial support can get my family out of debt and insure my children's educational continuance without so much pressure to raise funds or get in debt with loans.  Most of all, my wife will not have to take on the financial burdens alone.  We want to offer our son with Autism the best possible post-educational opportunities to thrive in our society.  We are at a high sense of urgency for the help, and we will use it wisely and continue to be thankful for our blessings.
