I Died Today--the play

February 3, 2016 I had a near death experience. It changed my life. I DIED TODAY, is a one act play loosely based on that experience. Writing has been an avocation for twenty years all the while designing costumes as my vocation.
I DIED TODAY has a chance to premier in the prestigious Hollywood Fringe Festival 2018. The Fringe Festival showcases new plays and playwrights in a month long day and night staging of the written word performed by some of Hollywood's rising stars. This years Fringe Festival is scheduled for June, 2018.
To to gain a spot in the Festival, a venue needs to be reserved by January 31, 2018. I hope to stage I DIED TODAY at the Actors Company theater complex on Formosa just off of Santa Monica Boulevard.
To secure this theater I am looking for funding Producers. Just like Broadway--plays now find funding from friends and family and those names are placed on the shows poster and programs. Same with me in this plea for funding producers. My goal is $2500. And in return for any denomination given, your name will be placed in incremental order on the poster for I DIED TODAY.
I've never sought donations from a Go Fund Me campaign, however I feel strongly about the message this play will deliver, not only as a vehicle for my writing but as a tour de force for the actor performing in I DIED TODAY.
