I am running 100kms in June for ATSI people
In light of the atrocities happening to people of colour (POC in the USA,) I reflected on what I could do to reduce systemic racism in Australia. There is no clear way to overcome centuries of oppression but opening dialogue on white privilege seems an easy place to start. I am aiming to run over 100km in June to help raise awareness of how we can support ATSI people and other POC in our own backyard.
As a white Australian, my privilege means I have never experienced racism or the effects of white supremacy. My voice isn't the one to share, so I will aim to share and support the powerful ATSI people and POC battling the front lines of this issue.
