I am Moeen Mohsen, a journalist and presenter from Gaza.

My story: Before October 7, I was living in a warm house with my small family, “me, my pregnant wife, and my young child, Youssef.”

My wife was close to her due date and my young child spent more than half his life in tents, suffering from diseases and environmental pollution, the last of which was insect bites.

We slept that night under the olive trees, where we found nothing but a branch of the tree to rest our heads on, until the morning came and I was surprised by the face of my little child, whose features were no longer in place.

God blessed me with my second child after great suffering and I named her “life ” so that I might see a new life in her. Now I, my wife, my child Youssef, and my daughter “life” , where we suffer from scarcity and pollution of water, lack of food, and lack of security, and truly I am very afraid for my children and my wife because of .

My goal is for my children to live a decent life free of war, like the rest of the world’s children, and to meet their needs for “food, drink, clean clothes, diapers, and milk.” and the prices of Pampers and milk are many times higher than the normal price, and I am unable to provide them for my children..
