Today, the 27 April 2024, I want to invite you to join me on my cancer journey as I intend to get 100% of my quality of life back; maintain it ... and I have the full intention of beating this blasted stage 4 breast cancer.

Right now I am in a situation – of do or die! Nothing else matters. I am in a fight for my life.

If nothing else I need to be able to pay for the injections which I have to order by next week to maintain the treatment for another month. This amount comes to 720€ which I don't have. This treatment is what is assisting me and ... its working, as the past two months has shown.

Background

After many unsuccessful attempts at identifying what was wrong with me, I was finally diagnosed on 18th May 2023 at Alvor private hospital with stage 4 breast cancer, which had metastasized into various organs, including into my spine and ribs, resulting in very serious spinal fractures. Earlier this year (2024) saw me officially classified as being 84% disabled by a medical board.

By February 2024 I was at death's door and my survival prognosis was extremely bleak, when friends referred me to an oncologist whom I saw on the 27 February 2024, when I was given a 100% holistic protocol. I am forever grateful to them, as it enable my amazing progress in just under two months.

Yes, its only two months ago, that I started with a 100% natural treatment. And yes, I have experienced tremendous results as far as my quality of life is concerned. Not sure yet what the status of my cancer is at this stage, as I'll only be doing MRI's and Cat scans, and further tests in early June.

This progress does NOT mean that I am cured of cancer.

The new treatment I am on has really greatly improved my life, and it has given me hope that I have a small window of opportunity to beat this cancer, and heal all the fractures in my back.

I am now off all previous meds. I no longer need morphine, cortisoids or the hormone therapies. Even the spams has stopped. My feet are no longer blue and black, no more clots in my legs. My skin is back to normal, as is my hair (I no longer need to wear a wig).

Who am I?

Those that know me, know I am a fighter ... normally I fought on behalf of many individuals, various communities or the environment specially in the Algarve, and I successfully reached the objectives behind each of those causes. I spear headed many initiatives, I raised funds for those causes when needed, but what I have never done until I started this GoFundMe page was to raise funds for myself.

Without a doubt, raising funds to support my cancer treatment costs has been one of the hardest actions I had to take in my life.

The harsh reality is that we have now exhausted our savings - one year of covering all the costs for private health care, including hospitalization and various very expensive treatments, coupled with not being able to really work and manage our start-up business until this week has led to me and my better half finding ourselves in this difficult situation.

Its been hard to have to face reality - how do we continue to carry the cost of my treatment which has had such good results in past two months? As by the end of the month (April) I have to order the next batch of injections to make sure its here on time as they come from Germany. And that's why I am requesting your help and support.

I thank God, the universe, the friends that referred me, this highly qualified oncologist and the independent scientists that continue to research alternative methodologies and protocols in the battle against cancer.

A final word

I am now back in my shop in Lagos after months being absent, and doing what I can with the help of very loving friends and loved ones.
