Cindy Lou Needs a Leg Up!

Donation protected
Tragedy struck this morning for Cindy Lou and her family.  While a delivery man was bringing in food Cindy Lou pushed her way through the door and was hit by a truck.  She was rushed to the Emergency Vet in Manchester and has been stabalized.  She was pretty lucky as she has no internal bleeding and her lungs are doing well.  Her hip, on the other hand is in very bad shape.  She is on her way to see an orthopedic surgeon in Woburn where they will decided if her hip can be reconstructed or if her leg will need to be amputated.  Her family is committed to do everything to help Cindy Lou live the life she deserves.   Cindy Lou was taken out of a bad situation when she was just a few weeks old with her sister.  The shelter put her sister down and had Cindy scheduled to be euthanized as well.  She was saved by some great people and brought to another shelter where she spent most of her puppy days.  She went into to foster for a short time and has been with her forever family since August.  They are heartbroken right now and could use all the support, financial and emotional they can get!  They are a wonderful and loving young couple with a young child and many other pets that they care for.  Thank you to everyone from the bottom of our hearts!
