Gday everyone,
it’s the guys from the hype team and we want to do something a little different these next coming weeks.
With only 3 hospices in Australia, compared to 50 in the UK, for children under the age of 18 who are terminally ill, Rios Legacys vision is to provide more facilities readily available for families going through the most difficult time in their lives, living with a child who has a terminal illness. Our vision is to see at least one hospice in every state of Australia that supports and assists children with a terminal illness and their families. Because every child with a terminal illness is fearfully and wonderfully made.
With these astonishing numbers and lack of hospice care provided in Australia for children, Hype-otential want to do our part. Starting from July, the boys at hype will be covering 700km of running to raise as much awareness and funds as we can for this incredible cause. With movement as our vehicle, we hope we can get as many people on board to join us with this endeavour as possible.
