On August 3rd 2018, Hyogi & Diana Yeon tragically lost their devoted mother, Sarah Ha, in a car accident. Hyogi and his mother were on a road trip when their tire failed and caused the car to roll several times. Sarah was airlifted to a hospital and then transferred to another hospital where she passed away.
Hyogi suffered a severe broken leg and has had two surgeries since the accident. His injuries require extensive physical therapy. Sarah was the only provider to the children as their father just passed away last year of cancer.
Hyogi (2018) is a Blue Valley High School Graduate and Diana Eungyeong (2016) graduated form Cherry Creek High School in Colorado. Hyogi was planning to attend Emporia State University this August, but is unable to due to his injuries. Diana is also a full-time student, but had to postpone studies to care for her brother.
In addition to their physical and emotional trauma, there is a severe financial strain on Hyogi & Diana that requires immediate attention. A fund has been set up to raise $100,000.00 by November 15, 2018 to help Hyogi & Diana as they are without any income. Please consider helping them with necessities, living expenses, and uncovered healthcare costs.

2018년8월3일 효기(Hyogi Yeon)와 은경(Diana Yeon)이는 비참한 교통사고로 사랑하는 어머니(Sarah Ha)를 잃었습니다.
사고가 났을 때 효기와 어머니는 장거리 여행 중이었고 예기치 못한 바퀴의 이상은 결국 차가 여러 번 뒤집어지는 큰 사고로 이어졌습니다. 효기의 어머니는 헬기로 급히 병원으로 이송된 후 곧 다른 병원으로 옮겨져 치료를 받으셨지만 결국 안타깝게도 사망하셨습니다.
이 사고로 효기 또한 다리가 심하게 부러져 두 차례에 걸친 수술을 받았으며 앞으로도 재활을 위해 지속적인 물리치료가 필요한 상황입니다. 그뿐만 아니라 아이들에게는 작년에 아버지가 암으로 세상을 떠나셨기 때문에 어머니가 유일한 가족 부양 원이셨습니다.
효기는 블루 밸리 고등학교 졸업생이며(2018) 은경이는 콜로라도주 체리 크릭 고등학교를 졸업했습니다(2016). 효기는 올8월에 엠포리아 주립 대학에 입학할 계획이었지만 부상으로 인해 당분간 학업이 불가능한 상황이며 은경이 또한 풀타임 학생이지만 동생을 돌보기 위해 학업을 중단한 상황입니다.
현재 이들은 신체적, 정신적 충격뿐만 아니라 심각한 재정적 어려움에 직면해 있습니다.
어떠한 수입원도 없는 아이들의 안타까운 상황을 돕기 위해서 올해2018년11월15일까지 십만 불($100,000.00)의 기금을 모으려고 합니다.
이 기금은 아이들의 생필품, 생활비, 의료 비용을 지급하는데 사용될 것이며
모든 자금은 재정 문제의 관리를 용이하게 하기 위해custodial account에 예치될 예정입니다.
