Hydee's OPLL Surgery

My dear sweet Hydee was diagnosed today with OPLL Disease. OPLL is Ossification of the Posterior Longitudinal Ligament.
This has caused a calcification in her neck and is putting pressure on her spinal cord.
Right now she is on pain medication and is bedridden. She will go in for surgery on the 2nd of January.
We have not been told what the extent of medical costs will be, and we have some savings. But it certainly will not be enough.
After the surgery, Hydee will have to spend two weeks in the hospital and then two more months before she is fully recovered.
Hydee is the sweetest, most amazing person I have ever known. It kills me to see her in pain. Everyone who has ever met her, loves her, and she has never treated anyone with anything but love and kindness.
I know it is short notice, but her surgery is in one week.
The doctor told us it is best if she has an MRI. We don't know if we will be able to afford this.
It is very humbling to have to decide between what is best for your loved one and a certain amount of money.
