Freelance artists needs help before sep 20th

Hai every1, my name is mitsuko and I am a 20yr old artist living in Los Angeles California.  Its hard for me to ask for help but I believe in the empathy and compassion from community that I’m asking to get any type of assistance from.  I need help with car repairs and moving costs. My car (my first ever car) was hit TWICE while PARKED by a drunk driver and is completely inoperable. The insurance claim has been going for the past 3 months and could take up to 2 years since the party involved (who hit me) has been MIA, even after I have sent letters, emails and consistent calls. I have done everything within my power to speed up the process. Because of monthly bills and rent I couldn’t possibly save enough to get the car fixed in a timely manner. 

My repair estimate is $6000

The rest of the funds will go towards a down payment and first months rent. My home is my studio, I source and create everything myself with one sewing machine. Getting a new apartment would give me more space to create and collaborate with other BIPOC artists. Deposits and move in costs in LA are CRIMINALLY expensive
