A Queer couple, AfroLatinx and a Black nonbinary DC activists need emergency funds for secure safe housing. Kass and Anakin are currently living in a toxic and harmful environment that is not getting any better and the head of the household is choosing to make that person comfortable after saying he would be remove. With active threats against their emotional and mental well being, they're asking for help to raise funds to secure safe housing as soon as possible. Both are currently living on a teacher's aid income while handling legal fees for wrongful arrest made during a peaceful protests which has put a strain on how soon they would like to remove themselves from the space.
During this pandemic, many have lost their lives, jobs, and homes. Kass and Anakin have nonetheless devoted their time fighting for Black liberation and mutual aid efforts in DC. WIth the stimulus checks coming, please consider donating as much as you can to give these activists a safe home without worries of abusers in their space. Any amount helps.
