Amy is HW+

Last week we saw the urgent messages about Nash County AC being FULL! We offered to take Amy, a beautiful black lab chow mix. She was sent to the vet for boarding for a few days before being transported to us and to get all of her vaccines, etc. unfortunately she tested heartworm positive and according to her blood work she also has microfilaria in her blood.

We have an appt scheduled for early next week to get her into the vet and started on her heartworm treatment. We are looking at approx. $680 for everything! Treatment, X-rays, blood work, medications, etc

Amy is only 2 years old, she is very sweet and so gentle. Please help us help her so that she can live a long full life!!
