Husband n Wife Kidney Transplant
Donation protected
My name is Rita Hawkins and I am organizing this fundraiser on behalf of Micheal and Davette Jordan. Micheal is a Navy veteran and both are members of the United Christian Faith Ministries of Baton Rouge.
Micheal had been suffering from ESRD for the past five years. End-stage renal disease, also called end-stage kidney disease, occurs when chronic kidney disease — the gradual loss of kidney function — reaches an advanced state. In end-stage renal disease, your kidneys no longer work to meet your body's needs. Micheal previously lost one of his kidneys to kidney cancer and the remaining kidney is now in ESRD.
A kidney transplant is the treatment of choice for end-stage renal disease, compared to a lifetime on dialysis.
Praise God he found a match in non other than his loving wife, Davette! Who will be giving the gift of life to her husband.
I am reaching out for help because they have exhausted all of their resources and savings due to the unexpected mounting cost of out of pocket medical expenses, medications, treatments , in addition to the long period of recovery when they will both be out of work. The stress of home dialysis until the time of the transplant in the next several weeks has landed Micheal in the hospital currently.
Our goal is $10,000.00. But any amount you can donate will be greatly appreciated.
Please share this link and share your prayers for a quick recovery for both these faithful servants of the Lord.
