Husband died of cancer then a fire took her house

Hey everyone, I’m Jesi Trommeshauser I’m making this go fund me to help my mother Fran Wright. She just lost her husband to cancer in January was a year battle with small cell cancer which was very hard on her to watch her soul mate deteriorate from a very fit 64 year old to nothing. I moved out to Vernon from Vancouver area after the passing of my step dad to be here for her I did a lot of work on the house to make it feel like home for her. Today may 12th 2023 in the early morning she woke up at 415 for no reason then the smoke alarms went off her and her elderly dog got out safe and sound but the fire department didn’t show up for almost 30 minutes but by that time she lost everything inside the house. She managed to grab her husband in the urn and a couple small things. But all the memory stuff from her husband and life are gone all her clothes and everything lost. She’s such an amazing person that does so much for everyone else and has been very strong through the loss of her husband Roger wright and now to loose the last part she had connected to her husband is awful. Roger was the type of guy that never said a bad word about anyone and always helped people even when he was battling cancer and only could use one arm he kept coming outside at 9-10pm to try and help me change my breaks on my work van I had to tell him 4 times to go inside. Just shows you the type of people my parents are. To see this stuff happen to such good people hurts. I’m just making this go fund me to help her financially with clothes, food, stuff for her furry baby and other living expenses. She does have insurance but house fires take a very long time and they tend to not give enough money for rental or motel house fires can take 8months-2years in some cases. I’ve work in restoration for years so I know how crazy it can be. Any support for Fran wright would be so greatly appreciated. God bless
