Hurricane Sally affects Coverly's
Donation protected
We are safe, but many things we worked hard for are destroyed and our insurance deductible is $5880. Here is what we need fixed:
Our back roof blew apart, leak in ceiling, fireplace was like a waterfall, our fences broke apart, our enclosure ripped in many areas and enclosure doors broken.
I know for many, 2020 is a year we would love to forget. For us it's been a rough year financially from totaling our Jeep recently to no paychecks from our bullying & suicide prevention nonprofit since February due to COVID19 shutdowns. We have delivered food for Doordash to make some money while continuing to work for free for our non profit for nearly seven months to keep it running. The need to offer hope to those struggling with anxiety and depression and cyber bullying are at all time highs.
I realize this. THINGS can be replaced. Our LIVES cannot. Sally may have broken our THINGS, but she did not break our HEARTS. We will keep going. We will make it through these trials of life. And, we will keep glorifying God because he will carry us through this.
We personally have a hard time asking for help, because if it was possible, we would pour everything we have into helping others instead. As of right now, we are using a friends place out of town because we are without phone service, power is out and we had no way of making food.
Thanks for your help.
Love,
Tom, Tiffany & our little Anni
