WHILE I AM A MEMBER OF ANCHOR POINT CHURCH, THIS FUNDRAISER IS PRIVATELY MANAGED BY ME AND NOT ANCHOR POINT CHURCH AS REPORTED ON NBC 15 NEWS EARLY THIS EVENING.
Residents throughout Baldwin County are being made to evacuate their residences due to uninhabitable conditions in their dwellings due to Hurricane Sally. I am currently looking for funding to pay for temporary housing, temporary storage of belongings and moving truck expenses for three medically fragile/mentally disabled occupants at Savannah Park Apartments. These individuals live paycheck to paycheck and haven't the financial resources to cover moving expenses and temporary housing. They have been denied FEMA and Red Cross assistance and are in the appeal process. THEY NEED TO EVACUATE BY FRIDAY AT THE LATEST. While we have plenty of volunteers to help these people move, financial resources are scarce and every tiny bit goes a very long way. Thank you in advance for anything you can provide.
