Hurricane Relief: Maid Right Units

Maid Right of Fort Bend County, TX was impacted by Hurricane Harvey in a different way than most and we are asking for your help!
We own a master territory and have 9 franchisees within our service area. Us and our unit franchise owners have experienced a substantial loss of income due to the hurricane at approximately $10K-$15K. We found out today that our insurance company will not payout anything towards the business interruption we experienced with the hurricane and with heavy hearts we are having to share the information with our unit franchisees who depend on the income they earn on a weekly basis from cleaning homes to support their families. Some of our owners are husband / wife teams that solely depend on their business to support their families. They are all entrepreneurs who have put everything on the line to own their own business and pursue the American dream.
Our franchisees were so amazing during the hurricane by contacting their customers and reaching out to help others. They haven't asked for assistance in any way but we know they are in need and have suffered substantial loss with being out of work for a week and facing many cancellations from customers who were impacted by the hurricane. We even have one business owner whose home was flooded and she has been cleaning homes as much as possible to keep her business in operation and serve her customers.
We have setup this campaign to help offer monetary relief for the loss of income our unit franchisees have experienced. The statistics of small businesses that do not survive after a catastrophic event are staggering and we are doing everything we can to ensure our owners do not face that reality in their businesses. Every dollar raised in this campaign will go directly to our unit franchisees to make-up for some of the money they lost due to the hurricane. We greatly appreciate your donation and support of small businesses, entrepreneurship, and the American Dream!
**Note: Maid Right will withdrawal the funds raised from this campaign and deposit the money into our business checking account. The total amount raised (minus any fees assessed by GoFundMe) will be divided equally by 9 and distributed via check to the franchise owners. We will take pictures of the franchisees receiving their check from the campaign and share the photos on our campaign page. Also, if any donor would like to see copies of the checks we provide the franchise owners, we are happy to provide that support as well. Thank you for your support!
