Hurricane Irma Relief for Students

On September 10, the Florida Keys took a devestating direct hit from Hurricane Irma. Most were affected in some way, while some lost everything. For example, in our home, (along with everything else that was lost) was Bella's backpack, lunch box, crayons/pencils, notepads, all of her books and pretty much anything else school related.  So many other kids lost as much or more. With myself being teacher here in Marathon, a lot of people have asked me how they can help our students directly, since we live on one of the islands with the most devestation. The purpose of this fundraiser is to raise money for the ones that were affected, and 100% of the money raised will go towards school supplies, clothing, and other essentials that students might need to help recover.  The plan is to purchase backpacks filled with essential school supplies for the high school, and doing the same for the elementary school with the addition of lunch boxes. All leftover money will go to the high school store where students in need can get basic clothing. Thank you for your support! :)
