Hurricane Harvey-After the Storm

On August 25, 2017 Hurricane Harvey arrived on the Texas Gulf Coast--it made landfall near Rockport Texas and then stalled over the Houston area for FOUR DAYS. Over 60 inches of rain later--the city was flooded as never before--Many people had to flee and many took their pets with them--but there were many that were still left behind and some areas are still flooded one week later .  National groups came in this past week and took many of the animals from the shelters--but more will continue to come in--and many of these will be ill or injured- we are raising money to help those animals as they come in needing emergency veterinary care and medicines-  Southern Comforts will then foster them, get them well, and find forever homes for them. If the shelters do not know they have this kind of support from rescues waiting to render aid--many animals will be euthanized --as they have no budgets for this costly care.  Please donate to help these victims of this terrible storm---Southern Comforts is here to help but we need your help to make it possible---Thank you for your donation and please share our story
