Hurricane Harvey relief, John Hird

John and Michelle Hird are among the many victims of Hurricane Harvey. Michelle is a long-time resident of the Rockport area and married John, originally from North Carolina, in July 2010. They have twins, a boy and girl, Jack and Jacqueline (Jackie), aged 6. John recently took a job in Kennemer, WY as a mining engineer. Being a first year employee at his company in Wyoming has meant a lot of the work and repair falls on the kindness of others and on Michelle, who has the two children with her, and her family, who also suffered total loss. They are staying in an RV while they try to work on  their property, but really need to consider rebuilding for the initial intent of the ranch home:  their rescue and retirement ranch for local horses.  In their five years of operation, they have saved many horses' lives and created loving relationships between owners and their new pets. The ranch was rated a 5 star rescue mission by  its customers. The Hirds are struggling to maintain the hope of their future,  but lack sufficient funds to rebuild.  Please help the Hird family carry on their good work. 
Funds are needed as soon as possible, but will be accepted throughout the remainder of the year. 

The devastation of this ranch will affect the lives of John, Michelle, and family, but also the lives of the horses they love and care for.  Please consider. Thank you so much!
