Evacuees Deputy & Wife Need Help

My name is Mike, I am a native Houstonian and moved to Dallas 22 years ago.   My roots are deeply planted in Houston, where most of my family still lives. Hurricane Harvey has devastated the Texas coast. Never before has a natural disaster hit closer to home. My sister and her husband were evacuated from their home as flood waters rose.  You may have seen him on the news.  He's the Fort Bend Deputy that even though is without a home right now, is out their helping his fellow neighbor and man.  Here is the news story that shows their home and interviews Mike.

The amount of damage will be devastating. They will incur 100% of the cost for clean up, repair, and rebuilding. I have set up this page as my way to help them. Please consider assisting in anyway you can. Any amount is appreciated. All the monies received will be given directly to Sherri and Mike.  The money will be used for the demolition and reconstruction of their home.  If there is any extra collected, it will be given to the Red Cross Hurricane Harvey Fund.  Most importantly, they were kept out of harms way and are safe. It won’t be until late September or October and the water recedes that they will be able to get in and start the clean-up efforts.
