Hurricane Dorian Grand Bahama Relief Fund

This is Ken and Fiona Williams. We are from Fort Erie, Ontario, Canada. We have been visiting Grand Bahama for the past 30 years and love the people there. Grand Bahama has received a direct hit from Hurricane Dorian. It is one of the strongest hurricanes to ever impact the Bahamas. People need emergency supplies to survive! We intend to raise money to purchase these emergency supplies and we will be accepting donated emergency supplies. We intend to use these funds we raise to purchase the majority of heavy items in Florida such as generators, cots, propane cook stoves, tarps, water and non-perishable foods with the money we raise. These funds are needed as soon as possible to help with our relief efforts. We plan to drive to Fort Lauderdale, Florida and bring these emergency supplies we collect with us, purchase the heavy items and load everything on the Balearia Fast Ferry or private boats. We intend to accompany everything to Grand Bahama and clear Customs.  We intend to work closely with the Rotary Club of Grand Bahama to distribute these emergency supplies to everyone in need. We will be hands on throughout our relief mission to make sure everything gets delivered where it's intended. We accomplished a similar mission 3 years ago after Hurricane Matthew hit the West End of Grand Bahama. We were 100% hands on at that time as well.
