Hunters Life

Donation protected
After years of waiting for a kidney with a hard to match blood type  Hunter has found his donor. Little did he know he had an angel about to make her way into his life. He had an Aunt he did not know about, an Aunt that had been looking for his Dad for 27 years! Laurel knew she had a brother out there and always had a burning drive to find him. Laurel finally found them in June and met hunter for the first time in September. She learned her new brothers son hunter, had a failing kidney and was requiring dialysis and was on the transplant list. After multiple family members failed to be a match for hunter, Laurel started her testing last month and it is confirmed her kidney is a match! Her scheduled trip back to Virginia is in two weeks and if testing shows laurel is healthy enough to donate her kidney, she will be going back within a few weeks for the actual surgery/transplant  Laurel will need to stay in Virginia for approximately three weeks following the surgery, prior to being able to fly home. Between the cost of laurels travel, loss of work and room and board, the costs are going to add up quick. We will be holding a yard sale later in the spring to help cover costs as well as hope the word gets out to family and friends, that Hunter is about to receive his kidney and with the help of you and the Grace of God we are on our way! This is truely a case of divine intervention.
