On Sept. 8, 2018, while the Hunter family was out of town, their home was quickly becoming a small lake. Following a week of rain and another heavy rainfall that morning, water covered their backyard and entered every room in their house. They returned home as soon as possible only to find their home unlivable. The water tested at level 3 (toxicity) which means they will have to replace flooring, sheetrock, cabinets, lavatories, and much of their furniture. Unfortunately, none of this is covered by insurance so that is where you come in.
Matt Hunter, along with his wife Lauren, have 5 children ranging in age from 5 years down to twin 9 month old babies. They are having to find alternate housing for an unknown length of time while they navigate how to restore their home and belongings. Matt is the Student Minister for Fielder Church in Arlington, TX and serves the youth and their families tirelessly and with great affection. Perfect example of this is the Sunday morning after the flooding of their home, the Hunters were at church worshiping and praising Jesus for all that He's done and will do through this tough time. The Lord has blessed Fielder Church and those that know the Hunters so now we want to step up and be their support in this great time of need.
Most importantly, pray for this family and for the Lord to use this time to shore them up and protect them. Then we can sit back and watch how God is going to get all the glory for the wonders He will do.
