Humpy's Medical Fund

On Saturday July 1 Steven was struck by a car while he was walking to the store.  The car/truck was traveling approx. 40 m.p.h. and the injuries Steven has sustained are extensive-- both of his legs are broken, as well as his pelvis and a rib.  He was not able to breathe on his own when the ambulance reached him.
Since then his condition has stabilized and he has undergone 3 surgeries to begin repairing the breaks.  
We are very fortunate that he has pulled through so far and yet, he has a long and expensive road to recovery ahead of him.  After about 3 weeks in the hospital, he will be transferred to a care facility to help with his recovery and physical therapy for a couple of months.
This fundraisier has been set up on behalf of his family to help pay the medical expenses the insurance won't cover and to help with a few personal expenses while he is unable to work.
