Hugs-for-Holly Cancer Challenge

Three months ago, our friend & co- worker Holly was diagnosed with aggressive types of both breast and lung cancer. She was terminated from her job after her Family Medical Leave Act benefits were exhausted. Without even 24 hours notice, she is now without insurance or a prospect of income.

Holly had served for over three years as a Patient Care Representative at a medical company. She was a loyal, compassionate, and dedicated employee. Holly deeply believed in her company and had given so much of herself, so the chance of her losing her job was never considered a possibility.

She has barely started her treatments and missed her most recent chemotherapy. Holly needs all of her energy to get well, yet her fight has now begun on all fronts.

Holly is a mother of three and a grandmother to a sweet young girl. She adores her granddaughter and lives for the time she can spend with her.  

I wish that Holly would know she is not alone, and I pray that every dollar donated is the lifeline that grows her strength.  Donating whatever you can is truly a virtual hug for a beautiful soul who desperately needs a ray of hope.
