Hugo&Tatis raise funds

Hugo and Tatiana are a couple of international students from Bogota Colombia. A couple of days ago their landlord sent them to a hotel while she remodeled their basement . During their staying at a hotel in Vancouver they got robbed. We as friends care about them and understand how difficult is to live in another country faraway from your love ones.  We would like to gather some money to help them with this unpleasant situation in this time of the year and help them to continue your studies. They are only allowed to work part-time and they lost their laptops which is their main tool to take their online classes and do the college assignments. Here are the details of the incident:  Tati and Hugo stayed at Days Inn hotel in Vancouver from December 7th to 10th, on December 9th their room got broken into while they were at work and all their belongings stolen from the room, including her engagement ring, passport, laptops,  clothes, among other things.
They reported the incident to the front desk and as soon as they told the lady at front desk what had happened, her response was “this has never happened here” then she turned her back on them and closed the door. This person did not care about what just happened to them.  They have been trying to talk to the manager but apparently, he has been “sick” ever since that day. It was reported immediately reported to the police, but the hotel will not even be helpful with the police.
The employees from the hotel instead of help us were laughing at their faces. They were indifferent and rude towards them. In fact they claim that their security system does not work and refused to show them the security recording from the day of the incident.
