Hudson's Wish Memorial
As some know and most don't our son Hudson was misdagnosed for 14 yrs..We finally got an answer almost 3 yrs ago.The answer was grim and quite scary to be honest as there truly is no cure for it yet.Hudson has Cystic Fibrosis on top of the many other disabilities he already has. We were also told that he will need a liver transplant and spleenechtomy that has not happened and may not because of his disabilities. We take everyday as our last with him and have no regrets. Hudson's dad is a truck driver and works long hours to support his family he is the only one who works outside the home as I(mom) am Hudson's primary caregiver. We recently (6 months ago) moved to Edmonton from Saskatoon,Sask to be closer to the Stollery. Hudson ended up staying 2 weeks in there shortly after we moved as he had a very bad set back which included a colasped lobe in his upper right lung.
Hudson had a wish granted through the wish foundation. We are blessed enough to be going on that wish in April. We are going to Thomasland in the united kingdom.
We have choosen Hudson's Wish 2014 as that was the year everything began. we have helped many families over the last few months and want to help Hudson more as well as other familes. I make many quilts for his foundation to help with funding but alas we are falling short of our goal.If you find it in your heart to donate please do so and help us help others.
Hudson was blessed to be able to go on his trip last month. This is all he talks about now and he has asked when we can go again so with that we are planning another go as long as his body will let us take him. That trip will cost our family over $10,000 to do,but we want to help 2 families first which is about $2200.00. We feel blessed to have so many people love us and wanting to help with this and get it off the ground. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts xoxo
