Summer Abroad for Spanish Fluency

Dear friends,
I have had the dream of traveling abroad to Ecuador in order to study Spanish for 6 weeks, since I got to Taylor University. I put my name down in February and have been excited to go on this journey since.
However, a day ago I was informed that the cost for the journey had increased significantly and now I am put in a difficult position where I had been told the trip would be significantly less but must put down a deposit by Monday if I want to go.
If you feel led to help me through any financial amount I would be greatly honored and thankful.
One of the reasons I want to go to Ecuador is that it will give me the chance to meet my Compassion kid that I support. I had already laid down a deposit to make that meeting happen and now I'm not sure I will get down there. My heart longs to meet this kid that God has laid on my heart to support financially and with prayer for the past two years. I can't imagine what an incredible moment it will be when I get to meet him.
Another reason I want to go to Ecuador is that I have a strong desire to become fluent in Spanish. God has surrounded me with Hispanic communities throughout my life and I've grown a deep desire to be able to speak Spanish to be a blessing and to open ministry opportunities down the road. What better way to express God's love to an individual than by saying "I love you and care for you" in their own tongue?
Finally, one of my best friends who I've gone to school with lives down in Ecuador and I had planned to visit him and spend time with his family. He is someone so special to me, and to get the opportunity to spend time at his home would mean the world to me.
