Hudson's Heros

As many of you know, my 1 year old nephew Hudson was recently diagnosed with Angelman Syndrome.  For those who do not know about this illness, I have attached some information.  https://www.angelman.org/


This diagnosis is obviously heartbreaking for our family, but we are very hopeful for Hudson's future and we know God has BIG plans for his life.  He has a lot of love and support surrounding him, and he is just the sweetest boy!  With this diagnosis, comes A LOT of expenses.  Currently, he has a very big need for a Posture Support Chair.  Hudson is unable to support his body weight or sit up at this point on his own so he has to constantly be supported during every day activities.  He is getting to be a very big boy now, and this is extremely difficult for my sister to continue to do as he grows. 

My sister (Haley Marie) has been waiting on insurance to approve this chair as it is a NEED for daily life for Hudson.  Unfortunately, today insurance denied her claim stating it was "not deemed medically necessary, but a convenience."  This, of course, is not true and heartbreaking that Insurance Companies can not see the struggle parents are facing denying such request.  Haley, and Hudson's Physicians are appealing the decision but that could take months.

That's where we come in!  I would love it if we could raise enough money that Haley could purchase this chair for Hudson NOW, and not have to wait on insurance appeals.  I can assure you, any money raised over and above will be a blessing and will be used for Hudson's ongoing care.  Thank you all for considering blessing my sister and our precious Hudson with this life changing gift!
