Stay strong Carmen!

Donation protected

On Friday November 18, 2016 Carmen suffered a major middle cerebral artery stroke. On Saturday, she underwent Hemicraniectomy (a surgery to remove part of her skull to allow for brain swelling). The surgery was done on the right side of her head and as of now her left side is paralyzed. She is currently in ICU at Mercy San Juan. Her stay in ICU is yet to be determined, at minimum it will be one to two weeks. Her family has been, and will continue to be by her side on her road to recovery, healing, and adjustment to life as it comes. They are so thankful for all of the prayers and giving that everyone has done, and continues to do. As you can imagine, the miles between her and home puts a separate burden on the family, which is why we have decided to open this GoFundMe account. Let’s show the family they are not alone in this. Any amount you are able to contribute will be a blessing. Whether you are able to help them financially, or with lots of prayer and positive thoughts, they are truly thankful.
