Help me help Lana and her mom! My sister Tonya is a single mother to an extraordinary girl.
Lana was diagnosed with neurofibromatosis shortly after birth. She is now a little over a year old.

She has two aggressive tumors, and have been growing pushing up against vital areas that could make her go blind.
They’ve been in the hospital or at a doctors office every week since she was born. She has been to over 250 appointments, and have spent over three months total in hospital stays. She is now receiving chemotherapy every week. She is always traveling to see Oncologist, Ophthalmologist, Neurologist, and Occupational therapist. She has finally graduated from physical and speech therapy!
Between the appointments and the drive back and forth to Saint Louis, the fight it’s taking its toll on both mother and daughter; Tonya and Lana can’t fight this battle alone.
Tonya has applied for many jobs, but it has been a struggle to find a job that can work around Lana’s demanding schedule, as the appointments must be made when a specialist is available, with little to no warning. She is on the edge of being homeless with this precious baby if we can’t find help.
Lana is this strong, beautiful, little girl, whom somehow keeps a smile on her face! Lana's first year of life has been filled with doctor visits, seizures, shots, chemo, antibiotics, MRI's, and physical therapy. She has a long road ahead and many difficult decisions.
