Light the Night for Haverford Township Little League
We need your help…before June 15, 2022!
HTLL has been given the rare opportunity to bring lights to the lower field—this year! With support from Haverford Township, a large portion of the total cost has been secured; however, we must act now to close the funding gap. HTLL needs to raise $40,000 by June 15 to take advantage of this limited opportunity from the Township and install the lights this summer.

Light the Night – this year and beyond
As part of our commitment to deliver the best experience we can for our children and our families, HTLL has embarked on a multi-year capital campaign, Light the Night, and we need your help.
Light the Night aims to raise $400,000 to:
· Installing permanent field lights in both fields at Karakung,
· Install batting cages for the upper field,
· Provide necessary field maintenance
· Make improvements to the overall grounds, including enhancements for those with disabilities.
· Lastly, the campaign will enable us to continue the practice of never turning away child away because of lack of funding.
The new improvements will create a safer and more enjoyable environment to play, watch and practice baseball and will allow us to be more competitive with other respected leagues.
Each year, we serve more than 500 children and more than 1,500 parents and family members. Because we are a non-profit private organization, we do not typically receive significant funds from Haverford Township. (This year is a rare exception with their support of the lower field lights.) Registration fees, team and local sponsorships, and the Hitfest only cover the costs to operate and provide essential maintenance to our facilities. To make any significant improvements to our facilities, we need your help.
Light the Night campaign donor levels:
· Base Hit - $250
· Home Run - $1,500
· Grand Slam - $3,000
· Major League Donor - $10,000
· World Series Donor - $25,000+
Donations over $250 will be recognized on the website and the Wall of Honor at the HTLL Karakung Concession Stand.
Donations may be pledged over three years.
