HSOW New Shelter project
Tax deductible
Wilkes County North Carolina is one of the largest counties in the state. The county animal shelter which was built in 1996 is too small to handle all of the unwanted animals for this area. Sadly this results in over 2800 unwanted animals a year being euthanized.
The Humane Society of Wilkes is trying to change this by building the counties first no kill animal shelter by 2023.
With your help we hope to end the euthanasia of healthy adoptable animals in Wilkes County. This new shelter will allow us to save thousands of cats and dogs every year. Every dollar counts and no donation is too small.
