HS Athelete ACL Surgery- Diana

Help us raise funds for our friend's daughter! Diana lives in Reno and is a sophomore in high school. While playing soccer for her high school team she injured her ACL and requires surgery. Diana's mother and our friend, Magda, is a single working mom and is raising 3 children, ages 10, 11, and 15. After the athlete accident insurance covers a portion of the surgery, Magda is struggling to come up with the rest of the money to pay for the surgery, which is scheduled to take place on November 15. In addition Magda has to take 1-2 weeks off of work to care for Diana. Diana takes accelerated courses in high school and looks forward to being the first person in her family to go to college. Diana is a super sweet, smart, kind, and athletically talented young women. Her mother gives credit to Diana for helping her so much with the care of her younger children. She has played soccer since she was a kid and has been an instrumental part of her high school team. Diana is heartbroken about the injury that she incurred while playing and we hope that this fund, not only helps financially but also lifts her spirit.
We have been brainstorming ideas on how to help Magda, because the financial burden on top of her daughter's well-being has been very stressful. We both are reaching out to our amazing family and friends to contribute to help this single mother feel the love and support of our great community! Let's show Magda and Diana that no matter what your situation is, strangers and friends are always willing to help out.
