Ashley's Trip to China
Donation protected
Ashley has always loved the people, history, food, and culture of China. Her serious studies began three years ago when she traded Spanish (since kindergarten) for Mandarin at an Atlanta International School.
Everyone who knows her understands that she is very modest and humble, but I am going to share (a little). At Graduation she received honors for receiving a perfect score in two categories on her International Youth Chinese Test. Fast forward... Ashley is taking Chinese Honors III in her sophomore year and has won numerous awards for her studies in High School. Here is another example, Two weeks ago, Ashley won first place in a Chinese caligraphy contest sponsored by the Confucious Institute at Georgia State University.
This April, Ashley will be apart of an exchange program in Taicang City! She is raising money for her ticket and expenses while staying with a host family. The best part is that a student from China will come to visit her high school as well! Please help Ashley experience immersion in her second language, Mandarin/Chinese.Thank you so much for your suppport.
She will post pictures and share her experience with everyone who is interested!
