Help with our down payment

We are getting married and instead of a traditional registry that would result in adding more stuff to our already cramped apartment, we are looking to own a home. Ideally we will purchase land and put a small, energy efficient forever home on it. The above goal would cover the whole down payment, and we do not expect to reach it. Whatever you feel comfortable donating would be extremely helpful for us.
