Rene’s funeral

For the last couple of months, he was battling an autoimmune disease and unfortunately he was not able to survive.  On August 20th at 6:42 pm, my brother was declared braindead.  He was rushed to the hospital at 3 am on August 18th due to a stroke. When we got to the hospital, we were told that a vein had a ruptured in his brain which led him into a comma. 30 minutes after, the bleeding had doubled in size and it kept getting larger and larger.

Rene was an amazing son, brother, boyfriend, and friend. At 24 years old, he was just starting to live his life. He was a foodie, car enthusiast, a Charger's fan, who looked forward to the day he finished "swapping" engines in his 240 (His Nissan), one of his ongoing projects. He was a hard worker not only in the workplace but also in his life, always working to better himself by graudating from college with a mechanical  engeneering degree and helping his family and friends find better opportunities to get ahead.
