Howard Sharpe Memorial

In honor of Howard Sharpe, better known as "Dad" to the eight people blessed enough to have grown up in his loving care. Nobody has ever loved harder, and with more selflessness. With his intellect and abilities, Dad could have done anything he desired in life, and he did, by providing for, and loving his family. Never one to pursue his own gain or seek attention, he said many times that God had made him "the richest of men".
Though our hearts are broken with a pain unlike any other, we are considering how blessed we are to have tasted a kind of love that some may never know. We also rest in knowing that Dad trusted in Jesus for his eternal salvation. Though our hearts desired that he would be healed, we know that Jesus came not to save our mortal bodies, but our immortal souls. Dad's faith was tested, and refined into a beautiful testimony that we look to as an example for us, as we move forward one day at a time. This fund is to help ease the burdens of financial stress that our Mom (Jennifer Sharpe) is facing. After losing the man that was her everything for 35 years, we desire that her heart and mind can focus on healing rather than the unfeeling necessity of financial stress.
