The Omicron Omicron Charitable Foundation feels truly blessed from the outpourings of love and support expressed for our dearly departed Brother Howard “Kingfish” Franklin, Jr. from the many calls, texts, Facebook, and Instagram Posts. Our brother was truly loved by many. He was impactful in his fraternity - Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. He was a vocal force in the DC, Newark, and music communities.

The Omicron Omicron Charitable Foundation has established this GoFundMe to assist with the funeral expenses and immediate needs of the family.

Any funds exceeding the funeral expenses and immediate needs of the family will go to the following:

• Trust for Howard’s young twins Amalyah Kioko and Kiros Amal Franklin

• Educational expenses for Howard’s second oldest child Naki Franklin

• Howard “Kingfish” Franklin, Jr. Memorial Scholarship at the University of the District of Columbia – College of Arts and Sciences – Division of Arts & Humanities – Music Department
