Housing for Liisa -Hurricane Flo

My name is Jeff Andrews. When Hurricane Florence threatened NC, my fraternity brother, Steve Sturdevant (Baldwin Wallace University SPE) and his wife, Bonnie left their Emerald Isle home on the coast and evacuated to their daughter Liisa's condo across the bridge in Swansboro, NC. Unfortunately, Liisa's condo did not survive the storm. Steve, Bonnie, Liisa, and her son (and their dogs and cats) had to evacuate to an emergency shelter, which became their home for the following  week.


Steve and Bonnie's house survived, but Liisa's condo was pretty much destroyed. Wallboard and insulation are soaked and must be replaced (basically, rebuild from the studs out). All their clothes and furnishings are trashed. Insurance will help, but the out of pocket expenses will be considerable.  


 I am asking for help in putting together a fund to help Liisa put her life back together. This fund  will help with the incidental expenses, both large and small.  Once this is up and running, I hope to flip this fund raiser over to Steve's control so he can distribute the funds as they are needed. Please consider a gift of money and please pray for Steve, Bonnie, Liisa, and all those who have been impacted by this devastating and life-altering storm.
