House Fire total loss-Lloyd Harless Memorial

Last night in the early morning hours Winston, the family dog woke Goldie Harless to discover a fire had started. As she and her granddaughter Kailin got the dogs out Kailin tried to rescue her grandfather; unfortunately, it was too late as the smoke filled the area and he had already passed. The home continued to blaze to completely destroy the home, a motorhome, surrounding storage sheds and all cars on the property. It was a complete and total loss of absolutely everything they owned. They ran out with literally what they were wearing along with absolutely broken, hurting and scared hearts.
As their daughter and grandson and other family arrived, they continued to watch the tragedy unfold. They found support at their neighbors home while many firefighters fought to contain the fire. Well into the early afternoon the home still smolders and nothing remains.
As the family deeply mourns words cannot express the sympathy felt with the untimely death of a husband, father, grandfather, uncle and friend... he will be missed by everyone.
As you view the pictures, that cannot possibly capture the vibrancy of his 76 years on this earth and 56 years of marriage, it is clear that he was special to his three children, nine grandchildren and three great grandchildren. He was absolutely a light that shined brightly in this family; his humor was well-known and very cherished and loved. He was full of encouragement and a positive attitude that will be missed beyond expression.
The family needs your help to restore basic necessities, clothes, shoes and everything we use on a daily basis- they ran out of the house with literally the clothes on their backs. They will need to find a home, car and all the basics we use that we often may take for granted.
